CAPTAIN OF THE DRAGON illlustrationsMarch 7, 2010
I finished all the sketches for the CAPTAIN OF THE DRAGON YA novel today and sent them to the editor. I illustrated in a style I imagined the character James Navarro, a teenaged physician's son, would draw them in his journal. I drew 35 sketches. Book should be released by the publisher in April.

Today is Valentine's Day and I got up this morning and went through some bat footage that the MARY'S WOODS film editor is going to edit. I love bats. I just got back all the editor's edits to CAPTAIN OF THE DRAGON and I am going through them. This is standard for all books. So far I only see what I would call minor changes in a sentence here and there. I am also finishing up sketches for the novel. I meet with (more…)

I am very fortunate, I get to do what I love. Filming and writing does not feel like work to me so I literally work 7 days a week and even incorporate what I do into my social life and vacations. I love people, I guess that is why I ended up in this field, (more…)
