I just finished the revisions to the Mary's Woods screenplay and sent them to Richard Lewis, a filmmaker who has several National Geographic and PBS films to his credit. Richard teaches screenwriting at the University of Texas Austin, a top ten film school, and is writing the Mary's Woods documentary script with me.

CAPTAIN OF THE DRAGON illlustrations

I finished all the sketches for the CAPTAIN OF THE DRAGON YA novel today and sent them to the editor. I illustrated in a style I imagined the character James Navarro, a teenaged physician's son, would draw them in his journal. I drew 35 sketches. Book should be released by the publisher this summer.

Bats

Today is Valentine's Day and I got up this morning and went through some bat footage that the MARY'S WOODS film editor is going to edit. I love bats. On Friday, filmed at a cave with a bat biologist where the endangered Indiana bat hibernates. There are only about 1,000 of the endangered Indiana bats (more…)
